Interesting Tips for Hunting Bears
I want to share some interesting tips for hunting bears. I have been researching and hunting them for a few years now and have put together some great tips that will help you be successful at it too.
There are many places where you can go bear hunting but here are some of my recommendations on how to find the perfect spot, what weapons work well against bears, how to prepare yourself mentally before going out into the wilderness in search of one of these large animals, and finally some safety tips so that you don't get hurt or killed in your pursuit of getting a trophy kill! Also, be sure to wear the proper gear for this excursion.
You have to thicken your skin and be aware that you may not come home with a bear but if you do, it is well worth the effort.
The best way to hunt bears is by scouting out a location where there are likely habitats for them. You can use Google Earth or other mapping software to find spot like this in areas around North America which have been known for having bears in .e. the Pacific Northwest, Appalachians and New Mexico.
A good time to scout out a location is in winter when bears are hibernating for extended periods of time because you have more opportunity to observe things like tracks or scat without them waking up. Once you find an ideal spot try and camp there overnight so that you can really make a good assessment of the area and see how many bears there are in the area.

Next, should consider these steps to make sure you have a good chance of success:
-Know what direction the wind is blowing and then set up your stand so that you are downwind from any bears in the area. This will help to mask human odors which can alert a bear at an earlier stage.
-Use bait like honey or crackers to lure them closer, but don't use anything that might annoy the bear.
-Don't use doves or other small animals as bait because they'll just make the bear mad and you don't want to do that.
-Use your flashlight cautiously, so it's not too bright but also doesn't give off any light beams in a direction where bears can see them coming from. If possible try and set up the perfect spooged on a tree with thick branches to minimize your chance of being seen.
-Keep the noise down, as even talking can make sound waves that are audible for miles. I have some great tips in this blog post about what you should or shouldn't do when hunting bears!
In closing, you should really think ahead and try to strategize the best way possible. Be prepared for success but also for possible failure. Before you go hunting, it's important to strategize and to make sure you are mentally prepared. If you're new to hunting then you should definitely go out with someone with experience. You can check in your area to find groups familiar with hunting and begin by tagging along with them to get familiar with the sport.
Remember, it is best if the bear has no idea that you are planning on killing him. The best way to begin hunting bears is to research different places that have bears. In addition, you should start off with a small game bow and arrows, because they're easy to use. Don't overdo it with your first attempt. Just remember to stay safe during the process. Also, use a record book to help track your success and make notes.
